In our experience dating back to being full-time RVers, people tend to spend the same amount on the road that they did in traditional living–assuming their income stays the same. Even though we don’t know how it’s possible, we’ve heard of people living in an RV full-time on $500/month (maybe they were just sitting in Quartzsite!). And then there are people who travel full-time with $10,000 in expenses because that’s what their income is! But I want to make it very clear that our spending is on the high end of what we need, particularly because of our lodging and food costs right now. So this amount is definitely not needed to visit or enjoy Mexico.

It will be really interesting to see the financial comparisons in various countries as you progress. I hope you are writing a book…lol….be safe.

Glad you get to be part of the process, Mark! There will definitely be enough fodder for a few books. I’m not actively writing right now, but I am looking for the right moment to start.
