We just completed three weeks in Cusco, the center of Incan civilization! We explored a ton, putting together this video tour of what to do in Cusco, Peru. For those of you living vicariously through our travels, we hope you enjoy all there is to experience in this vibrant, historic city. And for those of you planning a visit, this video will whet your interest for sure.

We also visited the Cusco cathedral, which was hands-down the most magnificent we’ve seen in Latin America. But because we like to obey the rules, we didn’t take any footage inside. Trust us; it’s amazing.
Of course, along the way we share our normal life, including one of Caspian’s Lego inventions and what it’s like to rotate tires at a shop in Peru.
What’s new with Hourless Life?
We left Cusco on March 16. It’s mind-blowing what we’ve seen in barely more than a week. Most memorably, we went to Machu Picchu! We can’t wait to share that experience in our next video.
We’ve been making tracks because our Peru visa is about to expire. So after Machu Picchu, we drove three straight days to Puno, the largest Peruvian city on Lake Titicaca. This is basically our last pleasure stop in the country, and we lucked out with a gorgeous camping spot.
We are about seven hours from the Chile border, so we’ll start driving that stretch tomorrow. Right now, we are reading up on border crossing regulations (looks like we might have to surrender all fruit, vegetables, dairy, and meat), trying to purchase Chilean vehicle insurance, printing photocopies and forms for the border, and thinking it’s time to do laundry.
