Is it Possible to Get Your Factory Jeep Build Sheet?
The short answer to getting your Jeep build sheet is yes if your Jeep was built 1998 or later, and “possibly” if your Jeep was built prior to 1998
I spoke with FCA North America (The corporate folks at Jeep) to get to the bottom of the Jeep build sheet question. “John” at Chrysler was instrumental in helping me understand the record keeping issue and the options for Jeep owners seeing their Jeep build sheet.
Basically if your Jeep was built on or after 1998, it is pretty easy to get your Jeep build sheet and I’ll explain how in this article.
But if your Jeep was built prior to 1998 you are going to have a tougher time getting a hold of it, but there may still be hope. I’ll give those of you with older Jeeps some resources at the end of the article.
Getting a Jeep Build Sheet for Jeeps Built After 1998
For those of you in this category, it is fairly easy to get your Jeep build sheet. Here is what you do in four simple steps:
Step 1: Make sure you have your Jeep’s 17 character VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) handy.
Step 2: Go to this LINK and enter your VIN.
Step 3: Congrats, you’ve got your factory Jeep build sheet for your specific Jeep! If you used this, I’d appreciate it if you’d leave a comment and let me know. These articles are a lot of work, it is good to know that folks are using them.
Getting a Jeep Build Sheet for Jeeps Built Before 1998
Here is where it gets really challenging to find your Jeep build sheet. But we’ve heard stories from jeepers who have been successful.
Here are 2 things you can try:
Option 1: First go ahead and try the steps above. John at Chrysler told me that sometimes folks are able to get their Jeep build sheet using that method if the records were input by someone at Jeep. He explained that factory build sheets prior to 1998 are fairly obscure and yet some of them managed to make it into the system. It really depended on the vehicle and model and which sites were active prior to 1998. At that time Jeep just wasn’t keeping all of the records digitally. It wasn’t until 1998 that all Jeep build sheets were required to be input.
Option 2: Contact FCA Historical Services. This is really more for vintage vehicles, but John said that it is possible they may have build sheets for Jeeps built prior to 1998 and that he had heard of some success stories in finding them through that method.
If you contact them, make sure you let them know you are looking for your factory Jeep build sheet and provide them with the 17 character VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of your Jeep.

Thanks for the links Eric, very cool to be able to get all this info straight from the source!
Happy to do it Kurt. The good thing is that “John” at Chrysler really took his time in talking me through the steps. I didn’t feel rushed and he answered all my questions. We had a good conversation and I learned quite a bit in the process. I’ll be curious to see if any Jeep owners prior to 1998 are able to get their Jeep build sheet.
Thanks! Ran my ’97 TJ Sport VIN through and complete build sheet came up.
You’re welcome Matt! ~ Jeepsies
Thank you Eric! Was able to get the complete build sheet for my ’97 TJ through the link.
Awesome Angie, glad to hear it! ~ Jeepsies
We got the buildsheet for our 2001 jeep cherokee but remote keyless entry is listed under optional so it still doesn’t tell me if our jeep can have the key fob programmed or not. We have to pay to have it activated even if it doesn’t work unfortunately. Any suggestions?
Hi Sarah, sorry I don’t have any suggestions on how to proceed there. ~ Eric
I just wanted to let you know that we have a 1994 & 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I wanted to look at the build sheet. We were successfully able to get build sheets for both Jeep AND the 1997, 1995, and 1990 Dodge Rams that I entered in just for curiosity’s sake… Thanks!
So glad it worked out for you Linda. Please let your Jeep friends know about this resource. Happy to help. ~ Eric
Hi Eric, I was super excited to find my 97 XJ build sheet using the source you gave! Thanks so much, this will make my axle swap much easier.
AWESOME! I found mine today and it helped a lot. Thank you for your effort!
Good to hear it Craig! Glad to be of help.
Thanks so much, really appreciate the info!
Thanks!
Glad it worked for you Doug. Been hearing from folks that they are able to get them on their YJs which were built from 87-95 so, I’m glad to hear that those with older Jeeps are trying the first method.
This is a great tool! I’m sharing this with all my Jeep friends. Thank you.
Appreciate it Aldeen. Also thanks for sharing it with your Jeep friends. Hope it is helpful to them. #JeepWave

I have a 2015 renegade, Right hand drive as I’m in England, the tool just returns and “Ooops try again”. Any suggestions?
Carl apparently this isn’t your fault, and has nothing to do with your right hand drive. I just talked with the folks at Jeep. They have taken the link functionality down. I’ll be updating the article shortly.
Didn’t work 4 me
Hey Anthony,
So this really sucks but I just spoke with Jeep and apparently they took down the automatic functionality last week. There is a work around but it is more cumbersome. I’ll be updating the article shortly with how to get your sheet. Just a few more steps involved. This is really frustrating. Not sure why Jeep made this decision.
Apparently it works again Anthony. So give it another go! ~ Jeepsies

I followed your instructions for late model Wranglers with no luck with clicking the VIN submit button it took me to a page that reads not available.. I own a 2011 Wrangler 2 door Sport. Any thoughts?
Sorry about that Al,

Thank you! I tried and it did not work as of today 5/16. It appeared to be working fine however the .pdf just said “oops try again”
I contacted an online agent via chat on the Jeep site and the agent said they no longer are doing it that way and to request it via email under contact and it will arrive in 2 – 5 days. I’m going to try again in a day or so anyway but wanted to let all know what I got when I tried. Thanks for the awesome post!
Hi Mark, I actually just did the same thing. People were reporting that it wasn’t working so I contacted Jeep and got the same answer as you did. I just updated the article this morning. Probably as you were leaving this comment. Thanks for giving it a shot and for the heads up. I’ll be updating this article again soon with the “new straight out of 1995” method of getting your Jeep factory build sheet soon. Meh.

Didn’t work for my “79 Renegade. 🙁 Here’s the reply I got :
Unfortunately, we do not have build records for Jeep in our files. These records were never passed onto Chrysler from AMC. Nothing further exists within the company. I have attached specifications for this model.
I am very sorry we could not help you further. If you have any questions, please let me know.

I recently got the exact same response from Danielle regarding my 86 XJ. So she’s been using the same cut and paste reply for over 5 years! I chuckled a little when I read that – it is not actually correct. All records were “passed onto Chrysler from AMC,” as Chrysler simply assumed AMC’s operations after the acquisition. The issue is more likely that nobody from Chrysler thought to consolidate/preserve the records. Who knows, they could still be sitting in some building somewhere today.
Just spoke with Jeep and the build sheet lookup has been disabled permanently.
Brian, apparently using this method to get your build sheet works again now. So give it another go. ~ Jeepsies
WOW! Just for giggles I entered the VIN for my ’92 YJ and got an error. I checked my VIN and tried a second time, to my shock it came up, (with a working PDF for download too)! Some details are missing and a couple are just altogether incorrect, (IE it says my Jeep came with Power Rack and Pinion steering and none of the YJ’s had R&P, maybe it was the only thing they could choose for Power Steering in that category??) BUT it did provided me with a great deal of info about my Jeep I never imagined I could acquire.
Thanks so much for putting this together!
Glad to do it. Please let your friends know about our Jeep blog! #JeepWave
Just so you know, I have the 704th TJ off the line in 97 and mine was I was able to download my build sheet. Worth a shot!
Good to hear Ryan! ~ Jeepsies
This worked for my 1997 TJ. Thanks for the write up.
Glad it worked for you!
Used Option#1 to get the build sheet for a 1996 Jeep Cherokee. as soon as I entered my VIN, Another tab opened with my build sheet in PDF.

Just looked up my 2001 Cherokee XJ & after resubmitting the vin in lower case letters instead of upper case letters it worked! Just my .02 cents in case anyone else has this issue? Thanks for getting us to this info!
Interesting Josh. Hadn’t heard that before. ~ Jeepsies
tHANK YOU!!
You are welcome Woody! ~ Jeepsies
Eric, thanks for the info. Ran through the steps for my 2000 TJ Sahara, not 100% sure how to interpret all of the information e.g. it lists both a hardtop and soft top and maybe some confusion on a couple of other items, but hey that’s not on you. Also for your readers, stop by your local Jeep dealer, they should be able to print out a Vehicle Information Report from the STARPARTS Network
Again, good job
MI Black
Yeah they can be a bit confusing. I know that some came with both off the factory. Meaning that they had the hard top and a soft top that was shoved in the cargo area. That may have been it. ~ Jeepsies

Thanks! I just pulled a very generic build sheet for my 89 Jeep Wrangler right from your initial steps. So I must have got lucky. Many lines are just filled in with generic words, ie, must be missing a lot of information.
However, it doesn’t really tell me anything technical, ie, it states a 5 sp manual trans, but not telling me which one. So it solves some curiosities and is very interesting. Such as, not a lot of my Jeep is original. Not a big surprise. More detail is necessary and would be awesome for a wrench guy like my self.
Let me know if you can help me find more details. Thanks for this help. And thanks for any additional help. Feel free to use my email, not sure if/how I’ll find this particular site again. Lol

Thank you! This article was a lifesaver.I just purchased a brand new 2017 JGC that had been passed between dealerships where the Window Sticker had been misplaced along the way. It had loads of options but until I found your article it was near-impossible to identify by name all that Luxury Group II included. As well, as other more innocuous features. Thanks again Eric!

Wow! It’s definitely cool and maybe even a little scary that my specific Jeep’s build info is there. It took me back to the weeks researching and choosing just what I wanted as well as learning how to buy a vehicle on my own without getting ripped off (I am a girl and young 20’s when I bought it). It basically came down to knowing everything about it and what everything was worth. I even told them not to put the dealer marketing on it because I wasn’t going to pay a fee for them to brand it with their own stickers and plate holder. lol … this Jeep is still my baby and it runs as well now as it did day-one.
Thank you for the work you put into this article. I loved it.

Hi,
-92 4.0 XJ built sheet came up with that application.
This car is in Finland/Europe and drives to nice backback trips on weekends. If goes broken, I’ll buy another XJ again. Thanks for this help.

Thanks, I looked up the build sheets of two XJ’s one a 95 and a 96 and the jeep that I bought also a 96. It also worked fine for my dad’s wj 01 with the specs for South Africa, so not just the US jeeps.
Really that’s interesting. Hadn’t heard that before. So it didn’t work for the US Jeeps but it worked for your dad’s? Glad it worked for him and to be of service. Thanks for this! I recently got a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. No door jam sticker/manual. The tires on it were TERRIBLE. Went on the web to ballpark some pricing and kept getting back 17″. I got all confused, someone had gotten 16″ jeep rims from a different vehicle, This information gave me a way of figuring out exactly what the Jeep came with from the factory!

I used this to search the Vin of my 94 YJ 1J4FY49S2RP123456 (the last six digits are replaced) and it returned me a build sheet that correctly indicates the Sahara trim level, leather steering wheel, and add-a-trunk, among the other options. So it looks like it did the job. I hope its correct about the 3.55 axle ratio and the anti-spin rear diff.
Thank you!!

Eric,
Thanks much for this tutorial. Just bought my first very XJ a week ago! Had so many questions regarding whether or not my vehicle was all original or parts swapped in later, especially that the previous owner did not have a clue about everything I was asking. Was able to access and print out my build sheet! This is extremely helpful! Really glad I stumbled upon this as soon as I did, your the man!

Eric –
I have a 2016 JGC Overland diesel with 2 VINS on the Window Sticker – One states a 2016 build and the other, a 2015 build. The VIN in the lower left (normal spot) is the 2016 and the VIN that sits in the optional equipment section states a 2015 vehicle – similar but not exact to the 2016. I downloaded the build sheets for both and the 2016 states (test vehicle. Any idea what this could be about? I can send you both VINs if you want to look. thank you
Rick, thats a new one on me. I know some folks I might ask, but I haven’t seen that before personally. ~ Eric

Hi Eric,
Just picked up a 2004 Liberty, and your instructions were great. Vehicle only has one owner – but was built to someone else’s spec, so they didn’t have any say in it. Got the build sheet in 30 secs, has all the info I need.
Thanks!

Thank you very much for the information. I purchased a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee S Limited a month ago and am trying to find out as much as I can about them…Can not seem to find out how many made in the US for 2010 I have never seen another one and not too much information. They were produced in 2008, 2009, and 2010…From what I know they were only built in the US in 2010 and all had 5.7 Hemi’s… thanks again, Ken

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. After having the ’00 Cherokee I just bought for a week, I started noticing some unusual parts, on top of the fact it looked slightly taller than others for some reason. Ran the VIN, and it was ordered with the UpCountry suspension package — skid plates, upgraded shocks & springs, 3.55 Trac-Loc, etc. Pretty neat! Ran the VIN on our ’14 Cherokee Trailhawk as well for kicks. Just cool to be able to have that info.

I have a 96 2wd Cherokee and was able to download my build sheet right onto my phone. Don’t lose all hope if yours is pre 98!
Thanks so much for making this how to man, I couldn’t believe how stock my Jeep was and it’s been in Arkansas/memphis area it’s whole 21 years with no rust!
Glad it worked out for you Jordan. Glad to be of service. Please tell your Jeep friends about my Jeep blog. It is a great way to say thanks! ~ E
It had the build sheet for my ’95 Wrangler SE (that I bought new in August ’95), with a couple of inaccuracies (no, it did *not* come with “P265/60r18 BSW A/S All Terrain Tires” on the factory 15″ 5-spoke rims, or an Alcantara Wrap Steering Wheel), but overall – wow! Thanks!
No worries Chris. I can’t claim responsibility for the build sheets themselves, but glad I was able to point you to them. ~ Eric
Thanks for the info!! Its nice to be able to find out the gear ratio, and the axle info, without having to send out 5 emails or have to drive somewhere to eliminate a jeep that you knew didnt suit what you wanted!

I am looking to buy a 1993 ZJ with the AW4 4 speed auto in it and so far all 4 Jeeps I entered into the site gave me a build sheet! No AW4 yet but many thanks for the helpful info. Keep up the good work!

I just got my build sheet for my 1995 Jeep ZJ. Got it from Chrysler.
Glad you were able to get it Jeremy! ~ Eric
Thanks!
I just pulled up a Build Sheet on a 2014 Cherokee Limited 4X4 for sale on kbb. The spec sheet on kbb lists the vehicle as having the “Luxury Group” option. The LG option is supposed to include the memory seat for the driver and cooled front seats for driver and passenger. The build sheet on the Jeep website, though, lists the memory seat, but not the cooled seats. Aren’t those both part of the Luxury Group option? Is there an error on the build sheet?

So sorry for the late reply, I’ve literally been Jeeping off the grid for a hot minute, but I’m back! No idea in answer to your question. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help. This article was just about how to get the sheet. ~ Eric
Bummer … my ’76 only has a 13 character VIN, so it wouldn’t even acknowledge it. My ’88 has a 17 character VIN, but the build sheet was not available ….
Pretty cool that they offer this though. I have an ’84 Corvette that I’m restoring, and it cost me $50 to get the build sheet for that car!
So sorry for the late reply, I’ve literally been Jeeping off the grid for a hot minute, but I’m back! Wow that’s spendy! #corvettelife ~ Eric

I have a question regarding the Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, both the Ecodiesel and gas-powered versions, years 2015-2016-2017.
Is it a simple matter to check transmission fluid condition and level? Or is the system sealed? If it’sealed, it’s a far more complicated and time-consuming process. Thank you.
So sorry for the late reply, I’ve literally been Jeeping off the grid for a hot minute, but I’m back! Unfortunately I don’t have a clue, I’m a Wrangler guy. You are asking me questions I’ve never considered! ~ Eric
Thanks for the help

So sorry for the late reply, I’ve literally been Jeeping off the grid for a hot minute, but I’m back! David a swap of what specifically? You putting which engine where? ~ Eric
Worked great for my ‘04 Chrysler 300M Special too, where other sites had links which had been taken down.
Very nice information source! Great access point for valuable reference data. Thanks

Didn’t work for my ’98…downloads a sheet that says VIN is not in right format.
So sorry for the late reply, I’ve literally been Jeeping off the grid for a hot minute, but I’m back! I’m guessing you double checked the VIN? If so, no clue as to what to tell you other than to use the contact info I provided at the end of the article. ~ Eric
The link worked perfectly! Thanks so much for the help!

Hi. Entered the vin number for my 4 cylinder 2.8L twin can turbo diesel her in New Zealand. Full sheet instantly available. Thank you.
Boom! Glad it worked out for you Scott. Let your friends know about this resource! ~ Eric
I tried this with the Vin no. Of my 2008 wrangler unlimited and it came up “vehicle not found”
That is really strange Dave. Double check the VIN. There is no reason a 2008 shouldn’t have come up. If that doesn’t work, contact them using the information I provided at the end of the article! ~ Eric
Thanks for the build sheet info.
Glad it worked out for you Cory! ~ Eric
I got my build sheet. Thanks for the link!
Awesome, glad to hear it Calvin! Let your friends know about the resource. ~ Eric
I tried the VIN for both my brother’s 1998 XJ Limited 4.0 and my 2000 XJ Orvis 4.0, both UK vehicles.
His VIN works fine but mine just returns “Unable to fetch required information. Please contact System
Administrator.” so I know UK cars work on the system but oddly my Orvis doesn’t (and I think others may have had the same problem).
Sorry to hear that. I’d suggest trying to contact them directly using the information I provided in the article. I’d be curious myself to hear what they say. ~ Eric
Is this working for anyone else ? I keep getting an error.
William it has been working for about 90% of the people who have tried it. Not sure what error you are getting. ~ Eric
Hi Eric I tried the site to find my jeep build and it worked!!! I have a 1997 jeep TJ wrangler sport. so there are some info out there for 1997 jeeps. Thanks for posting the info!!!

Hey thanks. It worked great, even on my 1995 Grand Cherokee LTD. I needed to know what diffs I had to buy a pinion seal.
Glad that worked out for you. Happy to help. Let your Jeep friends know about the resource! ~ Eric
Worked great. Got my build sheet.
How do I find out what “Cold WEather Group” contains?
And the Customre Preferred Package 2DL
And the Customer Preferred Package 27L
What those have in them.
Also what does 1 additional gallons of Gas means on it?
Thank you,
Scott McNeil
Accessing the link from my android phone was a little buggy but I found my way. Worked for my ’93 YJ. Thanks for the info, I’ll be sure to share with my Jeep pals.
Glad it worked for you John. Thanks for sharing my article with your Jeep crew! ~ Eric
The link in the article is redirecting to a new site. Here is the direct link if you want to update the article. https://jeep.custhelp.com/app/jeep/eqlisting_detail/
Thanks Michael, you were the first to let me know. Appreciate that. Article updated. ~ Eric
Now link seems to be broken, lead to under construction…
Their site is undergoing maintenance right now. It is the correct link. Please come back and try again in a few days. ~ Eric
Can’t get my build sheet. Any other way?
Here’s my VIN # 1j4fa49s84p732256
New link for the build sheet:
https://fcacommunity.force.com/RAM/s/equipment-listing
Thanks Aaron. I’ve updated the article. Appreciate it.
I think that link is now “permanently” dead. I’ve been trying for a couple of months now and it always shows a message saying the site has been disabled. The TLD (custhelp.com) takes you to an Oracle Customer Service service, so presumably Jeep cancelled their service with them?
It is actually fixed now. They were working on an update and it just came out. Check out the article again, I just updated it.
WOW! Thanks for doing this, I just helped my Aunt figure out which 2018 model she has! YOU ROCK!
No worries. Give your aunt a Jeep wave from us and let her know about our site!
THANK YOU! YOU THE MAN!
You are most welcome! Tell your Jeep friends about it! ~ Eric

Thank you so much for this. We just bought a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 for its towing capacity. I wanted to make sure the Trailer Tow Group IV was factory installed and included engine cooling. I was able to do that through your site, and it really has put my mind at ease. Thank you!!!
So glad this was able to help you out. Hope you’ll share the article with your Jeep friends!
Doesn’t work for my 2001 Wrangler 🙁
Thanks for posting link , gave me lots of info on my 2003 TJ. Cheers
Glad it was helpful to you!
Thanks! I got the information I wanted about my 2005 Jeep Liberty IN SECONDS! I’m still waiting a call-back from the local Jeep dealer.
So glad I was able to help you out Ed!
Yep, the easy method worked for a 1991 government order XJ. Although I got 2 pages (out of 6) full of: DESCRIPTION NOT AVAILABLE statements.
Glad you got something. Sorry it seems like some is missing. You could use the contact info I provided and see if they can get you the rest. Either way, #jeepwave

Doesnt work for an 03
That’s strange. It should. Sorry it didn’t work out for you Adam. I’d ask you to double check that you entered your VIN correctly, but I’m sure you did.
Hmm, they must not have been keeping good records in 98 as my 1998 Jeep grand cherokee 5.9 limited is not available through the link. Oh well, thought id give it a try. Thanks for article it was worth a shot 🙂
That’s interesting. I’ve had mixed feedback on 1998. But many have gotten theres. Sorry it didn’t work out for you. But thanks for checking out my site and giving it a shot! ~ Eric

Happy to do it. Glad you were able to use this resource and that it was helpful to you. Please do let your Jeep friends know about this resource!
Again you’ve led me to good info. Why no comment on your PayPal page?
Sorry I don’t understand what you mean by no comment on our PayPal? But I’m glad this was helpful to you! ~ Eric
I have a 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sport and the VIN link worked. Thank you so much! As the second owner of this Jeep, I thought things like this to be non-attanable
Really glad it worked out for you. Please do let your Jeep friends know about this resource.
The link above had Ram in the web address it didn’t work or the Jeep Gladiator vin that i entered would you happen to have a different link for that
Thank You!

Thank you very much! Was totally able to get the Build sheet for my JKU! I love following you guys and your overland travels in the jeep! They’ve inspired my wife and I to get out and push the boundaries of our jeep and explore further out that we’ve ever thought!
Happy to help Bryant. Appreciate the kind words. That’s really our hope; to inspire, empower, and encourage. Glad it worked out for you. ~ Eric
Thank you for this information. I pulled one for a Wrangler we’re looking at to buy. In this report at the bottom, it has several entries for “Fleet Tracking Code”, “Fleet Sales Order”, and says Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Am I safe to assume it was initially sold to be a rental car for Enterprise?
It sure sounds like it to me. Transparently I don’t really know, but it would give me pause to think. I can’t think of any other reason it would say that. Glad this was helpful to you Sue!
Tried this for my 2005 KJ CRD. It worked. Thanks!
Glad it worked out for you Linda! Please let your friends know about this resource. ~ Eric

V/R
Happy we were able to help! Thanks for stopping by the site. ~ Eric
This was very helpful, Thank You!
But the tires listed for my 97TJ couldn’t have been P265/60r 18 BSW A/S All Terrain
with a 15″ x 7″ rim. There must be some mix up with another AT tire. Everything else was spot on!
Thanks again!
Glad it worked out for you Roger! Let your Jeep friends know about the resource. More to come! ~ Eric
Just wanted to thank you for the link! I just purchased a ’95 YJ and took a chance that the build sheet might have been entered. Sure enough, there it was! I really appreciate it…thanks again!

Looked for my 98 and 99 jeep grand Cherokee and it couldnt find anything
That’s strange. It should work for those years. Double check your VIN and case sensitivity possibly? Haven’t had any others reporting those years not working.
How soon after it starts to build should I see my 2021 wrangler build sheet? Mine is in D1 but don’t see anything yet…..
That’s a great question Andrew. Honestly I don’t know how soon it would show. But I’d be really interested to know when you can see it! ~ Eric
THANKS MUCH APPRECIATED
Happy to be a resource Bruce. Please let your Jeep friends know about the resource. ~ Eric
The link and Build Sheet steps still work. Just got the sheet for my 2016 Patriot. Mechanic listed my transmission as a CVT instead of 6Speed Automatic which really worried me. I did not want a CVT and understood the vehicle I bought had a 6Speed Auto, but there was nothing in the five year old paperwork that mentioned anything about the engine or anything else. I’ve not got saved and printed copies of all the details, and feel much better about it. And, yes, the Build Sheet does say show it’s a 6Speed Automatic rather than a CVT.
This is super cool! Just looked up my 2018 JKUR Recon that I bought used. Wish I had my old jeep VIN’s to look up.

Glad it worked out for you Pete! Let our Jeep friends know about the resource! ~ Eric

Thank you Eric!
I was able to get the build sheet for a 2004 Grand Cherokee Overland, but only with your articles help. Your efforts have not gone in vain even after a few years have passed!
So glad to hear that. Appreciate you dropping the comment. ~ Eric
Hi Eric
Just bought my first Jeep a 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland and it was great to get a peek at the original build sheet all the way down in New Zealand!
Cheers
Wow! Right on mate! ~ Eric
Hi there… I just got my build sheet for my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4×4 Hard Rock. Thanks!
Glad it worked out Michael! ~ Eric
Thank you, needed a new rear differential cover for my Jeep and needed to know what differential I had. I tried several broken links before coming across your working link and instructions.
Cool, Brian. Glad you found what you were looking for. Were the broken links on our site, or somewhere else? -B
Right on Brian. Glad it worked out for you. Let your Jeep friends know about the resource! ~ Eric
Thanks Eric! It worked great on my 1998 Grand Cherokee!
Worked great for my 2003 Grand Cherokee. BUT you need to use CAPTIAL letters for the VIN.
Thank you very much from Uruguay!
It’s very useful to have all the data of my Jeep’s build sheet!!
Congratulations for your work!!!
Searched everywhere on line for a place to get a “build sheet” and finally I found your site. It works very well and now I know the gear ratio of my Jeep JK that I’ve been looking for. Thanks, great site!
Thanks for the link worked great.
Eric, thank you for your hard work on this as well as all of the other stuff you and Brittney post. The search worked perfectly for our 2014 2dr Rubicon and a 2022 4dr Rubicon. Safe travels!
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!!
My 95 YJ 9/95 4.0L was found. I could’nt be any happier. I use repair link daily and when I would type my personal favorite in and actually not a customers for work, I would get so sad when it would say Vin is invalid, type in year and model. They only go back to 97 TJ’s. I refused to ask the dealer, or maybe I could never remember to ask, LOL. Its so cool to learn the history of my JEEP. Zone 74-Denver, Wyoming State Code and now my YJ lives in Holden Beach NC with me. My best friend lives an hour and a half west of Denver CO and he has a 93 YJ from when we were in high school together in NC (his first@16 and still has it 29yrs ltr). Now I know 100% how and why my 95 YJ is with me. Your awesome thanks again.
Matthew, we are super happy for you! What a thrill to know the history of your YJ. Rock on.
