Overlanding Interior Mexico

Overlanding

Overlanding is vehicle-based, self-reliant, long distance travel where the journey is more important than the destination. We discovered overlanding in 2018, after we had already been traveling full-time for four years.

We weren’t sure if we were cut out for the level of intentional self-deprivation that overlanding requires–especially because we were traveling with a toddler! But our shakedown trips into Mexico had us hooked, and we ended up doing 4,000 miles through the interior and the full Baja Peninsula.

We’re currently preparing to overland around the world. Join the journey here!
