Captain’s Remarks

16:48 – Had a great workday and I’m thankful it is the end of the month. For those that live in stick and brick homes, data is usually not an issue. But for those of us nomadic types who work online, data is critical to our survival.

DATA CAP CRITICAL!! Today as we hit the last day of the month, we capped out at

20GB of data on the month via our Millenicom plan which runs on the Verizon network. So around 13:30 we had to switch to backup #1 which is our iPad via Verizon for the remainder of the day.

Thankfully, now that we’ve upgraded our cell phone plan we have a secondary backup plan. Technically we could tether our phones and we’d have an additional bucket of 10GB to play with.

Our tertiary backup plan would be to purchase more data from AT&T if we went beyond that.

Anything to avoid living in a Starbucks. Though some people may not mind that so much. ~shifts eyes~

16:52 – In other news the workday is over. We each wrote and published an article today. Brittany wrote one about reupholstering the cornice boxes, and I wrote one about annual RV rooftop maintenance.

I’m looking forward to some steaks tonight on our grill which IMO is a solid grill choice for any RVer so I wrote an article about the Weber Q2200 portable gas grill too.

Brittany just ran off to the store to get the necessary fixings for our meal, and I’ve got to run below deck to get out the grill and prep it. Life is good. ~ E

Navigator’s Addendum

21:25 – Really enjoyed our meal tonight. T-bone steak on the grill and a caprese salad drizzled with olive oil from Texas Hill Country Olive Company in Dripping Springs, TX. Eric is really hot when he grills. -B
